(February 7, 2013) – Kubota Tractor Corporation increases focus on the construction market as evident at the World of Concrete tradeshow this month where the company unveiled three new excavator models and upgraded several other lines of popular construction equipment. The new lineup includes the KX040-4 and KX018-4 compact excavators and the U35-4 tight tail swing compact excavator.

Kubota’s new four-ton KX040-4 packs superior performance, versatility and comfort into one compact machine. This new excavator leads the pack this year and replaces the KX121-3, Kubota’s single most popular model. The KX040-4 prioritizes the economy and supports the environment with its “Eco Plus” system, giving operators the option of “eco mode” for up to 20 percent less fuel consumption than prior models.
