Nelson Tractor Co. began in 1949 by Cecil Nelson and has been family owned and operated now for three generations, passing from Cecil to W.C. Nelson, and now to Will Nelson. Will is currently a member of the board of directors for the Southern Equipment Dealers Association (SEDA), which serves dealers in Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. In addition, Will is the chairman of the Georgia legislative committee of SEDA.
For decades, the dealership occupied a lot in beautiful downtown Blairsville, GA. Still nestled in the beauty of the Southern Appalachians, we relocated to the intersection of HWY 515 and Kiutestia in Blairsville. This new location offers a 46,000 square foot facility on a seventeen acre lot. The dealership now provides 6,500 square feet of showroom and sales space, a large parts department, a modern service facility, and a large professional conferencing center. We have over 20 employess, seeking to provide our region with premier service and products.
