TORRANCE, Calif. -- Developed specifically for the commercial turf maintenance market, Kubota's diesel-powered 2- and 4-WD F60 Series front-mount mowers offer compact design, plenty of power, and technology that ensures exceptional turf performance.

The F2260, F2560 and F3060 4WD models are powered by Kubota's ISO-mounted E-TVCS diesel engines, rated at 22 hp, 25 hp and 30 hp, respectively. The 2WD F2560E engine delivers 25 hp. These clean-burning engines, which provide maximum efficiency with reduced vibration and lower noise levels, will outperform higher horsepower gasoline engines because of their high torque rise. All models feature a Hydrostatic Transmission (HST) making direction changes easier than ever.

Kubota’s F60 Series features the company's state-of-the-art Auto-Assist 4WD with Dual-Acting Overrunning Clutch system which offers exceptional maneuverability for increased performance. Whether in forward or reverse, this innovative system automatically transfers power to all four wheels when needed. This helps eliminate wheel spin thereby reducing turf damage. Once the unit regains traction the overrunning clutch disengages four-wheel drive. Or, if preferred, four-wheel drive can be engaged while on-the-go.

A durable, independent hydraulic PTO clutch makes it possible to engage and disengage PTO driven implements while on the move.

The F60 models are available with a 60" or 72" side discharge mower, which can be equipped with a grass catcher. The easy access tilt-up deck, which provides almost 8" of clearance when traveling between jobs, provides full access for blade replacement or deck cleaning. Also available is a 60" or 72" rear discharge mower and mulching kit.

For safer operation, a PTO brake stops mower blades automatically if the PTO clutch is disengaged. In addition, the engine automatically stops if the driver leaves the seat if the PTO clutch is engaged or if the parking brake is not set. There is also a safety start switch and a headlight that makes operation at dawn or dusk easier.
