the new single-pedal design. Its high-low range provides you
with simplicity. Infinitely variable speed selections range
up to (10.6 mph) in forward and (5.6 mph) in reverse.

SHAFT DRIVE MOWER AND ATTACHMENTS
Power to the cutting blades is transferred via a drive line to
the bevel gear box and then to the belt-driven spindles, giving
you efficient and more dependable cutting power in all mowing conditions.
Other attachments requiring PTO power are operated by a PTO shaft
to provide reliable operation.

SURFACE-HUGGING PERFORMANCE

is important for a quality cut. The weight transfer springs ensure

SAFE OPERATION
Numerous safety features are built in. The PTO brake engages
automatically to stop the mower blades if the PTO clutch is
disengaged. The operator presence control switch automatically
stops the engine if you leave the seat while the PTO clutch
is engaged or if the parking brake is not set. Starting the
engine is safer because of the safety start switch. A standard
headlight is a big help at dawn and dusk.

REVERSE AIR COOLING
Fresh, cool air is drawn into the front of the engine compartment
and discharged through the rear, preventing hot air from blowing
on the operator.

LARGE-CAPACITY FUEL TANK
The 10.5 gallon fuel tank capacity permits long periods of work
uninterrupted by refueling. The tank's gauge is easy to read and
the tank itself has a 3.5-inch cap and a wide 2.3-inch opening,
making it easy to fill.

E-TVCS ENGINE
The heart of your F60 Series front mower is Kubota's compact
E-TVCS engine, either 22HP, 25HP or 30HP. These diesels emit
low vibration and low noise levels, and generate maximum efficiency.
Enhanced combustion efficiency lessens environmental impact
and reduces fuel costs. Adding to economy, these engines outperform
gasoline engines of higher horsepower thanks to their high
torque rise. Even when sudden load increases occur, your Kubota
engine recovers quickly and smoothly, especially within low
speed ranges and when mowing tall or wet grass. Kubota has
built in lots of extras, like a one-piece tunnel cylinder
block, a chrome molybdenum crankshaft and cross flow cylinder
heads.

Auto-Assist 4WD works not only in forward and reverse, it

DUAL-ACTING OVER-RUNNING CLUTCH
When mowing, if the front tires lose traction, the Auto-Assist
4WD engages automatically. Once the unit regains traction,
the over-running clutch releases and disengages the 4WD to
prevent turf damage. Four-Wheel drive can be set manually
for full time 4WD.
