TORRANCE, Calif. -- Kubota Tractor Corporation designed a class of tractors with the small farmer and landscaper in mind, the MX5000. Multi-tasking jobs are easier with the high horsepower full feature MX5000 tractor that comes in 2 and 4 wheel drive models.

“We created the MX5000 primarily to serve, sundown farmers with up to 50 acres, and landscapers who need high horsepower, and multi-tasking capability,” said Paul Williams, Product Manager, Kubota Tractor Corporation. “This new tractor is the stepping stone between the L Series compact tractor line and our larger M-Series. This tractor suits the weekender who wants to work on 20-50 acres and wants a tractor that is agile, responsive, easy to operate, and reasonably priced.”

Powering the MX5000 is Kubota’s 50 HP, 4-cylinder, E-TVCS indirect injection diesel engine with 44 PTO HP. This environmentally friendly engine provides greater power and high torque with low noise, vibration and emissions. The MX500 comes equipped with a partially synchronized main transmission, with 8 forward and 4 reverse speeds.

Hydrostatic power steering makes steering effortless and precise. On 4WD models, Kubota’s unique bevel-gear front wheel drive system allows equal pulling power at all steering angles and provides a tight turning radius. The bevel gears are completely sealed against dirt and moisture requiring only routine maintenance.

The live-independent hydraulic 540-rpm PTO, is standard and allows for automatic, self-modulating engagement. A category I & II, 3-point hitch has 2315 lbs. of lift capacity at 24” behind the lift point. A telescopic lower link end, crank type lift rod and stabilizers provide easier attachment of rear-mounted implements. Three optional remote valves can be installed.

The MX5000 offers two choices of "Performance Matched" loaders, both with single lever joy stick control. The LA852 for heavy duty work with a lift capacity over 2400 pounds at the pivot pins and 1875 lbs in the bucket. The dump height easily clears 9 ft. trucks. The optional quick coupler makes attachment changeover from bucket to pallet forks or a bale spear quick and easy.

LB702 loader has a two-pin quick attach system with built in boom stands enabling quick dismounts. This is a feature packed affordable loader that will lift over 1850 lbs. at the hinge pins, and over 1540 lbs. in the bucket.

The MX also features a full-open tilt hood and flat deck platform for easy on/off access. Hanging pedals offer more leg room and the shuttle lever has been moved to the left side of the driver’s seat for easy operation.
