Kubota Dealers Give Hope to Underserved Community:
East St. Louis Book Drive Proves Successful

With only one month before the National Dealer Meeting in St. Louis, Chris Hunter, NDAB President, asked his fellow Kubota dealers to bring with them one new or used book. These books were to be donated to the East St. Louis (ESL) Library. Hunter learned that only
a short distance from where this year’s meeting would be held was the community of East St. Louis, IL, a striving community with only one library and no resources to fund or fill its shelves.

With 960 dealers in attendance, Kubota dealers donated a whopping 1,355 books to
the library. Some dealers brought 4 or 5 books. "Words cannot describe the generosity and kindness that Kubota dealers, complete
strangers to our community, have shown us.
The people of ESL, my staff and myself are
truly grateful for your donations", said Cynthia Jones, ESL head Librarian.
