Benefits at Kubota


Those employees wishing to join the Company 401(k) Plan may do so after completing 90-days of Company service. At 90-days the employee may begin making deferrals from each paycheck to the Plan. After completing one year of Company service they become eligible for Company Matching Contribution and for the "Age Weighted Contribution”. The current company matching contribution is 50% of the first 6% of the employee deferral.
401(k) Age Weighted Contribution
Employees are eligible for this benefit whether or not they enroll in the 401(k) Plan. The special benefit is referred to as the "Age Weighted Contribution”. The discretionary "Age Weighted Contribution” is made directly to your 401(k) account by the Company when you become eligible. The amount is a percentage of your base annual salary. The percentage is related to your age and Company service. Payments are made directly to your 401 (k) account in four quarterly installments each year. This Age Weighted Contribution benefit is vested over a period of five (5) years.

Comprehensive Medical Coverage
We provide comprehensive, affordable medical and dental coverage through a network of physicians, hospitals and other providers. We also provide a Flexible Spending Account option so that employees may better plan for annual health expenses with pre-tax dollars.

Life, Accident, and Disability Insurance
All full-time employees may be eligible for life insurance benefits in accordance with the terms of the Plan Documents. The current benefit of company-paid life insurance is 1.5 times your base annual salary to a maximum of $250,000.

Additionally we have opportunities to participate in voluntary Life & ADD Insurance programs as well as AFLAC.

We offer a no-cost, confidential counseling service to employees and all household members over the age of 18.

7 Hour Work Day
Many Kubota positions are eligible for a 35 hour work week.
Paid Time Off
Kubota provides you with paid time off for vacation, holidays, bereavement and jury duty. We typically provide at least 12 paid holidays a year.

Many of our division offices including our Home Office in Torrance, CA have a gym available for all employees.


Tuition Reimbursement
Completing or furthering your education is an important personal goal for many people. Kubota pays many educational costs for approved courses, up to an annual maximum of $2,500.

Leased Vehicle Program
Certain roles within Kubota are eligible for our Leased Vehicle Program in which Kubota pays the expenses for a leased vehicle including monthly lease payment, fuel, repairs, maintenance and insurance.
Cell Phone Program
Certain roles within Kubota are eligible for our Cell Phone Program in which Kubota purchases a company cell phone and pays the monthly fees.
Employee Purchase Program
Full Time Kubota employees who have been with the company for at least 12 months can purchase Kubota products and vehicles at a discounted rate. We also extend this program to friends and family.
