As we strive toward the attainment of a society with the possibility for continuing growth on a global scale, we have begun by making the Environmental Charter and have specified materiality, key measures, and promotion systems for environmental management.
The KUBOTA Group promotes measures to contribute to reaching the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through its environmental conservation activities.
As a sustainable company which actively promotes environmental management, we have formulated medium- and long-term targets and are systematically promoting environmental conservation in our production and product development phases, in order to assist in the resolution of various issues such as the achievement of the SDGs.
We have made an “Eco-First Commitment” pledge to the Minister of the Environment and have been officially approved as an “Eco-First Company”.
We are proceeding with initiatives aimed at mitigating and adapting to climate changes, as measures for tackling climate change.
We are proceeding with initiatives for the effective utilization of resources, resource saving, and 3R for working towards a recycling-based society.
We are taking action to effectively utilize water resources and address water-related risks for conserving water resources.
We are proceeding with initiatives to properly control chemical substances used in our production processes or contained in our products, and are reducing their environmental burdens.
Through our business activities and social contribution activities, we are moving forward with steps intended to preserve biodiversity and protect the natural environment.
We are promoting environment-friendliness over the entire life cycles of our products, and are expanding the number of our products which have high consideration for the environment (Eco-Products).
We have arranged an environmental management system and are striving to improve our business operations and activities based on our environmental management rules, at each of our sites and business departments.
