WHY KUBOTA TECH?

The Kubota Tech program is designed to equip aspiring Technicians with the knowledge and skill needed to pursue a career in the off-road diesel equipment industry.

The program prepares Technicians to inspect, service, diagnose, and repair Kubota equipment. Technicians partner with schools and dealers around the country to gain the knowledge, skill and experience necessary to be an integral member of the Kubota team.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

Graduates will have the opportunity for a career as a Kubota Technician in dealerships around the country. The program provides job placement, excellent earning potential, great benefits, and the opportunity to work as a Kubota Technician.

Graduates will be using their newly acquired knowledge and skill to provide Kubota dealers and Kubota customers value. The Kubota Tech program empowers Technicians to be the best in the industry.

For Earth For Life BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION Equipment Operators are responsible for assisting Parts and Wholegoods shipping, receiving and put-away activities in Kubota warehouses and distribution centers through use of forklifts, reach trucks and order pickers. The Equipment Operator is responsible for operation of such equipment 80% of their working time. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures, and guidelines: • Obtains copy of shipping orders/put away orders and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas within the facility. • Moves goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility • Loads and unloads various carriers of Kubota parts and equipment, which may require operating tractors, excavators, RTV's, etc. • Stacks goods in correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions. • Checks to ensure that trucks are properly loaded and materials and equipment are secure. • Stacks empty pallets. • Performs daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment. • Removes machine attachments and waste material from machines. • Examines products to verify conformance to quality standards. • May assist with warehouse maintenance activities including waste materials into appropriate bins for disposal. • Other duties as assigned by management. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma or GED preferred. • Willingness to work any shifts (days or nights, weekends). • Certified to operate a forklift, reach truck, order picker as required according to OSHA standards. • Good language and reading skills; basic computer skills required. • High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment. • Follow instructions for operating assigned equipment and keeping required records. • Ability to execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner. • May be required to use RF scanner. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. This includes partnering with the SAP S/4 HANA implementations technology team and IT, as it pertains to KubotaLink, (KTC’s Dealer Portal) and handling the architectural support, design and technical interface projects across all application technology stacks. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines: • Manage KTC wholesale, floor plan (receivable) assets for assigned dealership locations. • Direct wholesale collection activities including monitoring the activities of assigned wholesale credit personnel (audit assignments, reviews, collection follow-up, and (UCC) lien perfection). • Monitor the assigned wholesale floor plan and rental inventory limits of existing KTC dealers for the assigned dealerships. • Review for approval of wholegoods shipments to dealers that are on restricted status or whose outstanding balance exceeds their assigned inventory credit limit. • Approve and monitor used floor plan and Rent to Sell/Snow Rental requests and maintain used equipment receivable advances within established guidelines. • Review and approve KCC rental program applications for assigned dealership accounts, monitor monthly payment status and take corrective action when required. • Conduct dealer training and visits to help monitor and advise high risk (Watch List) dealers. • Responsible for reporting updates for high risk (Watch List) dealers. • Responsible for collection of dealership financials, personal financials, ownership verification forms and maintenance of proper UCC filings and PMSI letters. • Directly respond or assign problems to appropriate staff members to research and resolve dealer issues. • Approve and recommend extensions of wholesale credit to new dealer applicants, including reviewing financial information and credit history. Monitor and recommend approval of all changes to Dealer Sales and Service Agreements including dealer entity changes, name changes, address changes and ownership changes. • Communicate, participate and represent Dealer Finance in Division management sales meetings. • Direct and monitor all finance related litigation activities involving dealers through direct involvement with KTC and outside attorneys. • Prepare annual budget recommendations for the division finance department and monitor subsequent cost control within budget guidelines. Review current and prior year expenditures and perform projections of future needs. • Manage all employees in the assigned department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, hiring, managing performances through coaching and training, delegation and review work products. • Utilize various Kubota systems and approved applications to manage Dealer Finance Department processes. • Other duties as assigned by management. Kubota Research and Development North America Corporation was established in 2022 as a new research and development center for riding mowers, utility vehicles, tractor implements, and other products for which businesses are being developed primarily for North America. This approximately 300-acre (approx. 1,200,000㎡) facility, the largest of Kubota's R and D centers, includes a turf farm, a high-speed vehicle test course, a trail course, and a vehicle test site including a digging field. It also has a bench testing facility with a low-temperature test building capable of testing M8 tractors, which have the most horsepower among Kubota tractors. The advancement of next-level development capabilities will help to ensure the quality of products for the North American market. In addition, the center promotes locally-led development in cooperation with North American sales and manufacturing partners.
