The five North American affiliates of the Kubota Group’s farm and industrial machinery business and the Kubota’s Farm and Industrial Machinery International Planning and Control Department and Human Resources Department have been working together since 2016 to offer training in North America for management executives. This also aims to improve motivation among local staff members and to further a sense of unity among training recipients from each affiliate.

Since 2015, we have provided a trainee system that aims to nurture engineers and supervisor candidates in areas throughout the world. Employees from China and Thailand are currently spending six months to one year at the Kubota mother base in Japan learning about Kubota-style manufacturing approaches and know-how.
Since 1997, Kubota has also dispatched many employees each year from Japan to subsidiaries and affiliated companies worldwide to serve as trainees. Diversity Management

We promote diversity in a way that fosters acceptance of every person’s differences and individuality and turns them into creative force that generates new value.
Kubota signed the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), formulated by the United Nations, in July 2012. We have also expanded our hiring of women, created environments in which women can continue working as they raise a family, and proactively worked to create growth opportunities for women, generating results along the way. At this moment we are also engaged in management that utilizes women and all of our human resources through promotion of childcare leave for men and creation and encouragement of employment opportunities for persons with disabilities.

The ability to always engage in self-improvement, to continuously pursue self-development, and to independently take on new challenges. The ability to overcome any difficulties through teamwork and by working closely with customers with honesty and tenacity. The ability to respect and accept diversity across languages and borders. We value these abilities as we constantly provide new value to our customers through our teams and work to improve the world.
