Kubota Expands Diesel Engine Line-Up by Adding New Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) Only Option (19-56kW)

July 3, 2014

As the awareness for the conservation of the global environment has increased, emission standards for industrial engines have become more stringent. Kubota has taken measures to reduce emissions by first introducing engines utilizing Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) as the after-treatment device.

Today we are pleased to announce that Kubota has introduced 4 new diesel engine models with Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) only from 19kW to 56kW. This further expands the Tier 4 Final line-up providing the customer additional engine options and flexibility in choosing the right engine for their application. These 4 new engine models are certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California Air Resources Board (CARB). The launch date for the new engines will be January 2015.
