Kubota Corporation (headquarters: Naniwa-ku, Osaka; president and representative director: Masatoshi Kimata), a subsidiary Kubota Tractor Corporation (KTC), a US retail sales company, is establishing a new distribution center in the central US state of Kansas.
The establishment of this center will enable Kubota to realign and optimize its distribution network and achieve ongoing business growth in the US.
1. Background and aims
- Kubota is currently pursuing further expansion of its US business by entering the market for upland agricultural machinery, in addition to its current business focus on the small agricultural machinery market, and by enhancing its lineup of compact truck loaders, skid steer loaders, and other products in the construction machinery market.
- By establishing its own central warehouse in the central US state of Kansas, close to the Midwest region—the center of the upland tractor and construction machinery markets—and with easy access to the whole of the country, Kubota aims to build a more optimal and efficient product and parts supply system.
