Kubota’s Commitment to Harmony with Society

Since its foundation in 1890, Kubota has been pursuing its business based on the strong will of our founder, Gonshiro Kubota, to contribute to people’s lives and society through our business.

From domestic production of iron pipes that laid the groundwork for modern waterworks to agricultural machinery that has increased food production and saved labor, Kubota has been delivering what society truly needs in the form of products, technologies, and services.

From one grain of rice and one drop of water to the foundations of society and industry – the Kubota Group believes that its mission is to solve the issues of food, water, and the environment on a global scale, and to support people’s prosperous lives and the growth of communities as it works in harmony with society.

SDGs - 17 Goals to Transform Our World

In 2015, the United Nations adopted 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) including “Zero Hunger” and “Clean Water and Sanitation” as a set of common goals for the international community.

We see that the direction of the SDGs is the same direction that Kubota should take as a company contributing to the world in the areas of food, water and the environment under the brand statement "For Earth, For Life."
