Camp Program for Students to Learn About Smart Agriculture and Agribusiness

The program offers college students the opportunity to learn about and experience advanced agriculture
To develop the next generation of agricultural talent, SIAM KUBOTA Corporation hosts the KUBOTA SMART FARMER CAMP every year, where university students learn about smart agriculture and agribusiness.
SIAM KUBOTA Corporation Co., Ltd. (SKC), which manufactures and sells agricultural machinery in Thailand, launched the KUBOTA SMART FARMER CAMP in 2012, a project aimed at imparting knowledge and know-how on smart agriculture and agribusiness to university students. To date, a total of 720 students have participated in the program.
One hundred university students participated in the camp in 2022. During the four-day, three-night program at our demonstration farm, "Kubota Farm," participants learned about smart agriculture and marketing, attended lectures by guest speakers, and took test rides on agricultural machinery such as tractors and combine harvesters. The company also held practical workshops to deepen understanding of and experience in agriculture.
SKC will continue to promote smart agriculture and support the next generation of farmers for the development of sustainable agriculture in Thailand.
